Our Mission

To build technologies, applications and services relevant to the common man and accessible over the ubiquitous mobile phone. To information enable the common man through the Mobile Phone. India has 305 million (Aug 2008, TRAI) mobile phone users.

The Mobile Phone, carried at all times by everyone is also an information device and here are lots of opportunities to build valuable applications that can offer inputs into daily life activities, bringing efficiency and optimisation into it. So that one can make more informed choices. Applications that address real pain points and applicable to large user bases. Applications that offer information enablement in every aspect of daily lives - in saving travel, in saving costs, in saved efforts and time, in optimal decision making, buying decisions, selling decisions and so on. Applications that look into transportation, livelihood, health, education, dealing with govt matters, entertainment.

The segment of VAS in India has been hot and full of speculations. We have witnessed many initiatives. But a bulk of the VAS revenue still comes from sale of Ringtones and other such areas called the ABC (Astrology, Bollywood, Cricket) which dont really address pain points.

Our bet is on those applications. Technologies, services and applications that address pain points. We are represented on the Mobile, on the web and on the desktop as one integrated environment. And this website shall be a portal for mobile phone users.

CleverTexting

See our new Mobile Texting Technology : CleverTexting : A new predictive Texting technology that does not depend on a dictionary but instead uses the statistical nature of the language to make a prediction. It is a new experimental model which is offering excellent results for usability. Since it is dictionary less - it performs equally well across dictionary and non dictionary words. You could write Could you and cud u in the same model seamlessly. You could also write Flextronics because the model is trained over words like Flexible, Extrovert and electronics and many other words that actually exist in the language. CleverTexting as a technology is also very lightweight and can be implemented with very little demands on the most basic handsets. Released only on 31st Dec 2008. CleverTexting also offers SMS compression. Read all about it at www.CleverTexting.com and you can also download the Java application free on your phone to compose, compress and send SMS.

CleverTexting is being described by experts as a welcome innovation that addresses an acknowledged blindspot in the Texting technologies. It uses an user interface model where no letters are typed on the keypad, instead predictions are made dynamically and displayed on the screen from which you choose using the numeric keypad/or the touchscreen of your phone, always with single keystrokes, no changing modes, no disambiguation, no multitap.

Panini

Panini - a multilingual Indian keypad for mobile phones supporting 11 languages of India was released on the 31st Jan 2009.

Panini allows you to compose SMS in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Gurmukhi (Punjabi), Assamese.

And then you can also compress your SMS before sending it. It is for the first time in the world that such a scheme of onphone SMS compression application has been offered. This is really required for the Indian languages because Indian language SMS can only carry 70 character of Unicode doublebytes per SMS. Panini allows around 210 to 240 characters per SMS : a whopping increase of the payload of the SMS by 350% in the first version.

Panini also transliterates automatically between languages, so you can type a message in one language and send in another. Or receive a SMS in one language and read it in another.

Panini is free to download and install on your phone and is available at the website http://www.PaniniKeypad.com
